MEET OUR WRITER/DIRECTOR

Jermey Ashley is a California-born filmmaker with a love for horror, a head full of movies, and a degree from CSUN’s film program to prove it. He cut his teeth at Sam Raimi’s Ghosthouse Pictures, where he dished out script notes and spooky insights. Since then, he’s sharpened his storytelling skills as an AD and 2nd Unit Director on indie features, while writing and directing his own dark delights like A Creature is Stirring and a slice of Found Footage of Fear.

With a sharp visual style and a taste for themes like loss, revenge, and redemption, Jermey’s debut feature Meathook carves out his place in the genre.
